Originally put together to play screaming loud delta blues in the late '90s Zip Cody performed in the
Boston Providence and Worcester area -- with such blues artists as James Montogomery, Luther "Guitar JR" Johnson,
and Young Neil & The Vipers -- until 2001, when Scott moved to Northampton. It was then that Zip embraced technology and
started recording with loops and electronics. The result was the internet record "Roswell Blues". Sporadic performaces
in New York, North Carolina and in Northampton would show Zip Cody playing resonator guitar and singing original songs in
the vein of Chris Whitley and Ben Harper.
